A South African pantry, run out of Perth
We stock the food South Africans in Australia actually miss, and we post it anywhere in the country.
What we sell
Two things, really. The first is the Gorima’s range: masalas in 500 g bags, curry pastes in jars, and the pour-on marinades for the braai. The second is the grocery shelf, which is the stuff you cannot buy in a Coles run. Mrs Ball’s chutney, KOO baked beans, All Gold tomato sauce, Ricoffy, Five Roses, Knorr soup, Benny stock powder, Robertsons spice and Hinds coating.
None of it is a local imitation. It is imported South African stock in the same packaging you would pick up in a shop in Durban or Joburg.
Where we are
Perth, Western Australia. Orders are packed here and lodged with Australia Post from here, usually within one business day. If you are local you can skip postage altogether and collect for free.
On prices
Importing is not cheap, and we would rather show you the unit price than hide it. Every product page lists the price per kilogram or per litre next to the pack price, so you can see exactly what you are paying for. A 500 g masala bag at $30 is $60 a kilo, and we would rather you know that than find out later.
On postage
We charge what Australia Post charges us, worked out from the real weight and size of your order. There is no handling fee baked into it. Over $100 we cover it entirely. The shipping page shows the full rate table if you want to check the numbers yourself.
