Mrs Ball's
Sweet fruit chutney built on peach and apricot, with a vinegar edge and no chilli in it at all. Mrs Ball's Original goes on a cheese sandwich, next to a curry, into the mince for bobotie and into the chicken mayo everyone makes for a braai. If you have never had it, think fruit relish rather than hot Indian pickle.
How to use it. Spoon onto cheese sandwiches, cold meats, boerewors and curry, or stir a few tablespoons into mince for bobotie.
